Get this error message when trying to retrieve the license on a new Root III server



You are currently operating with a limited product license that requires registration prior to activating the full feature set. To update your product license select the Retrieve Keys option from within License Manager.
Key Update StatusLicensing Server Unreachable: Unable to connect with licensing server.
Please make sure that your network allows communication to ka.sw-soft.com:5224.

Isn't this an issue with 1and1 where they restrict your box from accessing the license update until you call them and place a request for them to remove the restriction?

The same thing happened to me when I ordered my box...but perhaps your issue is different.

That doesn't make sense to me. If you order a Root III server or any server for that matter, when they deliver the server to you it should be ready to go. You shouldn't have to call them and beg for the licese to be activated. Even if you did, they would have instructions to contact them which they don't have. I think it's just a case of the turn up process not being completed properly.
