Upgrade to 7.5.3?

Plesk Reloaded 7.5.3 was just released today. Has anyone upgraded from 7.5.2 yet? Any issues?

Does the license that is included from 1and1 allow an upgrade to 7.5.3? Or is it an extra cost?

There's a big issue with the WebMail. It has session problems and is no more accessible.

I'll be upgrading today on a brand new FC2 with 7.5.2, i'll report my findings back later today.

I guess that it was a bad experience, as nobody has updated this topic for a whole month.... I'd like to know whether you had major, minor, or no problems at all with the Plesk 7.5.3 upgrade. What version did you start with, and what OS? I have FC2 and Plesk 7.5.2. I got burned on the 7.5.2 upgrade, so I'm a bit gunshy for this one.

I have a fresh server and the 7.5.3 upgrade has bombed 3 times now. I started out with ART's updates before the install but i'm now reimaging to try a fresh 7.5.2 image and update it fully to 7.5.3 and then upgrade with ART's RPM repository.

I'll report back what happens.....so far it's not been nice. I can't access the admin control panel after the upgrades despite a restart or anything else.

Well we're under the typical time crunch to move a customer to a new server. So since we weren't satisfied with the 7.5.3 upgrades, which translates to the following:

ART's updates broke Spamassassin, won't start
Zend optimizer install broke Apache, won't start
CPAN auto install/updates don't seem to ever finish cleanly (ie: install Bundle::CPAN)

and a couple other issues that I can't recall at the moment. So we reimaged the server for the 25th time and stayed with 7.5.2 but upgraded to MySQL 4.0.24a via ART and installed Zend Optimizer with no issues.

After we move the customer I'll have a new server to work out the install issues on.

FYI ....We finally got 7.5.2 upgraded to 7.5.3 but wasn't comfortable enough with it that I was willing to put it into production so we're still running 7.5.2

Well we're upgraded to FC2 and 7.5.3 with all available updates as of today and all seems to be running perfectly. We just had one issue with installing Zend Optimizer and conflicting with the IonCube module loaded in the php.ini but commenting out the IonCube module seems to have resolved the problem. I'll report any issues.

So far I've added Zend Optimizer from source and Image Magick from ART's yum repository without incident.

I had no problems upgrading to 7.5.3 using Yum. on FC3

Just can't get the 7.5.4 Beta to install on my FC3 test server w/ 7.5.3
