Help please my hosting block and ban my ip

Hi all,

i want to modify and build my webpage but the hosting is banning and blocking my ip after 10-20 minute.

after that i can not acces to my site over http and ftp again..

but if i change my ip (reboot router) i can acess my site again.

i dont use static ip.

what should i do ?

i installed joomla to my shared linux hosting.

need urgent help please.

i was talk with the hosting but no solution.

Ok. I will explain again.

İ was buy from 1and1 a shared linux hosting beginner.

after that i was installed to my place joomla.

but when i modify my webpage over http or over ftp after 10-50 minute the hosting or server is blocking my ip. i can not acces to my site again on ftp or http again.

but if i change my ip (restarting my router because i have not a static ip) i can acces and connect again to my webpage.

i was try to build my webpage from different location for example from my work or from a internetcafe but the problem is again happenend.

1and1 (the hosting) is baning my ip and blocking my ip.

i was contact to 1and1 they are saying me give us the ip number whe can unblock it.

but i have not a static ip . my ip is changeble.

i can not give the ip's all the time for unblocking.

i dont know what is wroung.

i dont know how i will work and build my webpage.

for me is now the hosting unuseful.

Hey,

I think this is a 'feature' of 1and1. When i used to have the home hosting package my IP would be blocked after lots of FTP activity (or any other network activity). Maybe they have DOS protection or something. It will un-ban the IP after a while, so thats a good thing for us Static IP users.

All i could suggest is if you can get a static ip and ask 1and1 to add that to their whitelist (if they have one).
