Ok, I'm hosting several domains on a Root I server. Recently, I needed to setup an SSL cert on one of my domains. I ordered and setup a new IP address for my server. So I now I have a new exclusive IP available in Plesk. Now whenever I switch my domain to the new IP address I get the default plesk page and none of my files for my suite are available. If I switch the domain back to the default shared IP address everything is back to normal.

The weird thing is I setup a different domain the exact same way last month and had no problems what so ever. That domain is functioning fine. So I don't understand what the problem is. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! Please let me know if you need any particular information.

Thanks
cYon

Try restarting Apache?
Do you need to wait until DNS updates world wide?
Watch the Apache logs to see when you attempt to load the page and make sure it shows up in the correct log.
Does the IP address in the control panel update correctly?

it would appear as some network issues, after waking up the next morning, the domain was on it's new ip and functioning fine.

I was on late Sunday night working on one of our servers when it just disappeared off the earth for about 15 minutes. Long enough that by the time I did some basic troubleshooting to determine it was really gone, login to the serial console to see it was still up but unreachable, and phone 1and1 support it came back alive again. 1and1 advised they were having some issues with a core network router and it has been causing issues with "servers" all day long. Although they wouldn't comment any further on what or where specifically the issue was.

Maybe that was why my server was down over the weekend. It went down a couple of times on monday as well but only for a few minutes at a time. but long enough for me to figure out its not the a server problem.
