Is there any way to resell eShops or do you have to put each one in a seperate customer ID/account? I'd like to add this product to our portfolio but I don't want our customers logging into our 1and1 admin control panel ....obviously.

No, 1and1 doesn't offer any reseller accounts; the only thing that would work is a root server.... Plesk users. Nothing else offers the ability to have different admins. But really where is the sense in reselling a product already available to the public by 1and1?

Thanks. We are interested in a product similar in functionality to the eShop but allows for shared administration. 99% of our customers require a managed solution, meaning they want access to upload products and make pricing changes but don't want to deal with the SSL cert, Authorize.net config, backups, import/export, reports, etc ... which is the managed service we provide. But with the current 1and1 eShop product we can't share the mgmt without giving them access to full monty in our 1and1 control panel.

eCommerce and a 1and1 root server would give you what your looking for. With a little bit of php knowledge you could re write the back end of that and have the prefect solution. Of course it wouldn’t have the integrated paypal and world pay that 1and1 offers.

You might want to take a look at a different approach:

Merchant Order Form, once configured (and these configurations don't generally change...like payment options, shipping options, etc), is called completely with code in your normal html pages--no uploading and configuring products in the cart itself.

I've used it on several of our client sites and everyone's extremely pleased.
