Beginner

I am looking into purchasing the Beginner or Home plan on Linux server.

What I want to know is, why only 1 FTP account, and these other few things:
- If I upgrade my instant domain to Beginner or Home does my instant domain cost me an extra $5 a year? Or does that drop and go back to working with the hosting plan's included domain?

- Does 1and1 offer cPanel and preinstalled scripts such as phpBB, IPB, vBulletin, Zen-Cart, etc. in the Beginner and Home plans?

You guys are doing an excellent job on my domain name with NO issues whatsoever, and after the holidays I plan to start looking for a job again, if I can find one I can pay yearly for hosting.
