FTP backup added to root server packages

We just noticed that our root III servers now have 120GB of FTP storage space. We didn't have that when we first ordered the servers and I don't remember seeing any email news about it. Nice upgrade, wish we would have known so we could have started using it sooner.

We just noticed that our root III servers now have 120GB of FTP storage space. We didn't have that when we first ordered the servers and I don't remember seeing any email news about it. Nice upgrade, wish we would have known so we could have started using it sooner.1&1 usually introduces new features for existing customers as well, most of the time a few weeks later than for new ones though. For new customers included backup space was added in March this year: http://press.1and1.com/index.php?&page=press&mode=displayDetail&id=18

This does not always apply, if 1&1 changes their overall prices of course. For instance, the included traffic volume (raised from 500GB to 1-1.5 TB) did not change for those who signed up for their previous server offers that where $20 bucks cheaper than the current ones. It also does not apply to hardware upgrades (obviously).
