Price Increase For Us Servers

I have just noticed a price increase for dedicated servers at 1and1.com.

From your experience, does the new price affect me?

The new price doesn't affect your current contract and in some cases you might even get some of the upgrades applied to your account retroactively. It only applies to new contracts.

It just seems weird that they changed the prices for the server on the main pages and stuff but in the link at the very bottom of the terms http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/Gtc (current fees), it still shows the old prices. This either tells me that the sudden price bump is TEMPORARY, because one one really reads those terms. OR, they just forgot to edit it, lol.

First of all, you cannot order a server from their UK division if you are living in the US. They wont even let you sign up because if you input US address, the sign up system will reject it.

But if you are just curious, the price would be 29.00 GBP = 51.3194 USD according to xe.com
