new to 1&1 with many Q.s

I've purchased the Basic package for now, but had many potential questions I wanted to ask.

Q1. I've purchased it at 6 month basis(as min requirement) and if i am going to upgrade to a home for example, at the second month, do i need to pay for the first month? and how does it basicly works? e.g. payment for 6 months>after 1 month>upgrade to home>payment for 5 or 6? And do i need to pay as newly opened a home package or just add the payment(combined with the basic pack i've payed) up to the total amount of a home pack?

Q2. is it possible to have 2 or more package(s) to combined to serve a single domain? e.g. i owned example.com, am i able to have 2 developer pack to server this domain as 1 so i can double the space and bandwidth of this site? if yes, how?

Q3. is it possible to do use functions from 1and1 server like in cpanel? such as set meme type of a particular file configure apache handler(are they even using apache?)and even set/control the flow of a few ftp/site quotas for i wanted to share the site resourses with some partners.

Q1: AFAIK unused time will be credited against when upgrading (or cancelling).
Q2: No.
Q3: Using .htaccess, you can define mime types and the likes. Setting up quotas for individual FTP accounts is not possible, you'd have to purchase a root server for doing that.

Definitely a root server package would give you the flexibility your seeking on Q2 and Q3.
