How long does it take for the Account to be activated?

What kind of account did you purchase, dedicated servers take anywhere from a couple of hours to a week depending on their current stock and order queue.

Be sure you can answer the phone. If you ordered online like I did they have an automated system that calls you and asks for a numeric code they will email to you.

I had my RS1 setup by the end of the next day after confirmation.

account activation takes only hours and before the account is activated the activation depratment has to check first the info given by you, now if they find one single error or fault processing of the account may take more than 24 hours unless you answered the phone or received their email asking for some sort of identification

They don't require a phone call anymore, btw. At least not for US servers.
