Sender Policy Framework
Although not complete this is a starting point reference for creating SPF records or Sender Policy Framework records for your domain.
The basic idea is that only a select number of servers are actually responsible for sending and recieving email for a given domain. The SPF record is meant to define these specific servers and some basic characteristics about your email architecture. This allows others to perform some basic checks and help cut down on email spam, spoofing, phishing, and the like.
What you need to know is the IP addresses of all your mail servers and their hostnames. You can use the following wizards to create your SPF records for you. They also contain some information on how to install/configure/publish your new SPF record in your particular DNS platform.
