It seems that the available applications are a little mixed up  ... Some require PHP 4.x.x and the PSA 8.0/FC4 installation, of course, installs 5.x.x. And what's with all those duplications  that only have a couple version/release numbers difference? Is there a way to upgrade these so they work with what is installed by default on the server? Just seems a little odd that this one area is not so well thought out...

I tried to delete some of the duplicated apps and each time I get this error msg:

Not being very well versed in the finer points (or general points, for that matter) of PHP I don't have a clue what all this means. Just wondering if there might be a fix or work-around...

Ok, now I'm talking to myself! I just discovered that Plesk 8.0.1 is available... here goes nothing... <gulp!>

If anyone is interested, I ran all the updates through the updater and everything installed as it should have... still have the same problem as above though...

SSH into your server. Chect to see if you actually deleted the app.
# locate gallery-2.0-32
/usr/local/psa/var/cgitory/gallery-2.0-32
/usr/local/psa/var/cgitory/gallery-2.0-32/apps
/usr/local/psa/var/cgitory/gallery-2.0-32/apps/httpdocs-files.tar
...
/usr/local/psa/var/cgitory/gallery-2.0-32/uninstall
If this returns nothing the app is gone.
Now we need to clear out the database.
Make a backup of your PSA database.
Log into Plesk.
Get into your database Webadmin (not the webadmin for clients or domains).
Select the PSA database.
Select table "SiteAppPackages".
Browse each field and delete each entry that is no longer installed but shows up in the PSA database.
